Join the Board of Directors of the Japanese American Service Committee for an evening celebrating Japanese American arts and culture June 7, 2012. Browse and bid at our artful Silent Auction, and mix and mingle over cocktails and appetizers at the Greenhouse Loft, one of the country's premier sustainable event venues, located just 10 minutes from the Loop in Wicker Park.

Artwork by established and emerging Japanese American artists will be on display. Artists will be on hand to discuss their work:

Art by David Tanimura, sale proceeds in-part donated to the film.

Junko Kajino and Ed M. Koziarski spent the 2011 growing season filming the organic farmers of Fukushima, Japan battling to reclaim their land and livelihoods from nuclear fallout. The filmmakers return this March to capture the recovery efforts a year after the disaster. A word from the Filmmakers:

Coyote Art Festival 2011!

I'll be located on the 3rd floor, ROOM 339, of the Flat Iron Building. The Coyote is alive in Wicker Park. This fall the FIAA continues to honor the artistic spirit of Wicker Park and Bucktown with Coyote, a three day art festival. The show will feature the art of over 150 painters, sculptors, photographers, performers, poets and musicians. ($10 suggested donation at door)
