Pallitativity 153: Dreaming of Space

Posted on June 7, 2012

I’m the kid who still gets caught looking up at the stars. I will be distracted from conversation by the full moon cresting above the trees. I went to Space Camp… twice. I learned that adolescent introspection is an important step to something greater.

I love getting out of the city. Out in the wild, all of the bright lights of civilization’s self-obsession dials-back to reveal the smallness of all that we have accomplished. We are but one blue dot in the great expanse of existance. We have yet to venture out past the Keeper of the Tides. Bring me that horizon.

I still dream of Space.
